Elvis Cake

It’s my birthday! As I said before, I’m not big on birthdays, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want an awesome birthday cake! That’s the best part about birthdays any, a great reason to eat as much cake as you like! I’m eating a slice right now in fact, I only got up 30 minutes ago but it’s my birthday so I’m allowed!

Amaretto Crunch Dessert Shots

It’s my birthday weekend, yay! Birthdays don’t really excite me, I’m not exactly “bah humbug” about them but they’re just not really a big deal for me, I don’t do much to celebrate these days. But I am excited about sharing a couple of birthday inspired recipes with you this weekend hence the yay! Tomorrow, on my actual birthday, I’ll be sharing my birthday cake. But today I have these Amaretto Crunch Dessert Shots.

Easter Rocky Road Brownies

Easter sneaked up on me this year, it always does when we have it early! I know the date of Easter is decided by the equinox (I think?) but I do wish it was the same date every year, because I just get confused! So I was a bit late baking something for Easter to share with you guys, but there’s still a week to go and plenty of time for you to bake up these amazing brownies! Or, if you have your Easter baking planned, take advantage of all the discounted Easter chocolate on April 7th and bake these after! Either way, everybody is gonna love them!

Blood Orange Mini Tarts

This Sunday is Mother’s Day in the UK and we’re finally starting to see some Spring like weather, at least down south we are anyway! So I thought it was time to post a nice bright and cheery dessert to celebrate Mother’s Day and welcome spring… or at least encourage it to appear more frequently! Of course, today it is raining so these little tarts have got a lot of work to be doing!

Baked Rainbow Donuts

You know what I love? Donuts! You know what I don’t love? Piping hot oil! It’s not because I’m all about being healthy (I mean, have you seen my blog?!) I’m just an incredibly clumsy person, me and hot oil don’t mix too well – you might say we’re like water and oil (sorry, that was a terrible joke!). That’s why I love baked donuts, they’re just as yummy as fried donuts but less burns!
