The Rory Cocktail (a Gilmore Girls “Martini”)

The Rory Cocktail is a very pink drink, made from pineapple vodka, grenadine and champagne or prosecco, served in a martini glass with a pink sugar rim! A really fun, easy and yummy way to celebrate the return of Gilmore Girls with cocktails and girl power!!

I am very excited today my lovely readers. Because do you know what’s coming up VERY soon? No, I don’t mean my trip to Atlanta. Or Thanksgiving. I’m am so very excited for November 25^th! And nope, it’s not because I’m looking for some good Black Friday deals. Have you guessed yet? If the title of this post did not give it away, or the intro blurb, then you must not be a Gilmore Girls fan. That’s right! After 9 long years off of our televisions, Gilmore Girls is back on November 25^th!!! There will be a four hour special on Netflix so we can find out what’s going on with our favourite Stars Hollow residents! And not so favourite (go away, Dean). Who else is excited?!

Bucky Barnes Cocktail (The Brooklyn Cocktail) – Marvel Cocktail Series

The Bucky Barnes Brooklyn Cocktail is the next instalment of my Marvel Cocktails Series. Bucky’s cocktail is the classic Brooklyn, an old classic that’s made a big comeback. The Brooklyn Cocktail is a delicious blend of rye whiskey, extra dry vermouth, and maraschino liqueur, it has a smooth, dry bite that will keep you coming back for more. Just like Bucky, it is less popular than it’s well known counterpart (i.e. Manhattan/Captain America) but it’s just as worth bringing back!

Bucky Barnes, where do I start?! Bucky (aka The Winter Soldier) is probably my all time favourite Marvel character. He’s just a kid from Brooklyn with greatness inside him, a greatness not even he could see, and this is true whether you’re looking at comic Bucky or MCU Bucky. Let’s look at MCU Bucky though, because I love the arc The Russo brothers gave him and how he was depicted. Bucky, a kid from Brooklyn, grew up taking care of his chronically sick best friend who was more like a brother, and while Bucky may have been physically stronger than Steve, Bucky always saw a greatness in Steve and knew he was capable of amazing things.

This Baileys Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini is THE fall cocktail to serve this Halloween and Thanksgiving. It’s creamy and delicious, full of fall flavours, so easy to mix up, and the espresso will give you the boost to keep celebrating all day and night! Bonus: it tastes just like a Pumpkin Spice Latte… but with booze! How can you say no to that?!

It’s October! Autumn is in full swing and with Halloween and Thanksgiving just around the corner, followed shortly by Christmas, it’s the most delicious time of year! This is why it’s my favourite time of year, it can get pretty crazy, especially when you’re a food blogger, but there’s so many wonderful festive flavours to taste and experiment with, how can you not have fun?! And I had soooo much fun coming up with this Baileys Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini Cocktail, especially the taste testing part! It’s so delicious, and goes down way too easily. It’s basically like drinking a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte, but better and with booze! I’m totally in love.

This Blackberry, Cinnamon and Fig Margarita is the perfect fall cocktail. With a delicious blend of sweet, sour and warm spice you won’t be able to resist them! They’re really simple to make, which is handy because everyone will be asking for refills! This Blackberry, Cinnamon and Fig Margarita is the perfect cocktail to serve this thanksgiving!

I know a lot of you are probably still lamenting the end of summer, but not me! Summer has it’s advantages; lovely fresh produce, long days, sunshine, and cocktails galore to name a few. But, as much as I love sunshine, I hate the heat. It does not agree with me! The sun may be hibernating more and more as we delve into autumn and the days are already getting much shorter but in return we get crisp air with cooler days and colourful foliage. And we may start saying goodbye to the strawberries and peaches of summer, but we can say a big hello to the blackberries and figs of autumn, and not to mention the absolutely gorgeous, warm spices that dominate this season. Yes, I think it’s safe to say that I am big fan out autumn. Especially because it means I can give my favourite summer cocktail an amazing autumn makeover with this delicious Blackberry, Cinnamon and Fig Margarita! Yum!

Raspberry Moscow Mule – A Summer Cocktail

Belvedere vodka combined with spicy and bubbly ginger ale, fresh lime juice and sweet, tart raspberries in a cold copper mug. This Raspberry Moscow Mule is a summery twist on the classic cocktail.

Can we claim it’s officially summer yet? We’re still having lots of grey and rainy days which are typical for a British summer, but the temperature is consistently climbing and the sun is showing its face more and more often. And summer calls for cocktails, at least in my house! I love a good, classic cocktail like the Moscow Mule – but I love to add my own little twists to make it yummier and revamp it for the season! So this Raspberry Moscow Mule was born.
