This Rose Vodka Tonic is a delicious upgrade on the classic Vodka Tonic mixed drink! With Rose Liqueur, it’s delicately floral and perfect for bridal and baby showers, brunch, and Mother’s Day! This easy mixed drink is one of my favourite vodka tonic recipe variations, and is so easy to make. This amazing Rose Vodka Tonic cocktail is to celebrate an even more amazing blogger, Meghan from Fox and Briar, and the birth of her beautiful baby boy! As a food blogger, and a woman, I am so grateful to have these wonderful ladies in my life to support me and and lift me up (in both blog life and the rest of my life) – I honestly couldn’t do this blogging thing without them! So, when one of our own brings a new life into the world, we have to celebrate together!

Congratulations Meghan and Mr Briar, you’re going to make the best parents, and we sure know this little bundle of cuteness is going to be fed very well!

Breakfast at Tiffany’s is a Rose and Raspberry cocktail, made with Belvedere vodka, rose liqueur, lemon juice, raspberry syrup, and an egg white. It’s sweet, slightly floral, and a little bit tart. This Rose and Raspberry cocktail is an easy, elegant drink to serve for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or any celebration!

Confession time, I’ve never actually seen the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s! I know, it’s appalling. It’s just one of those movies I’ve always meant to see, but never actually gotten around to it. I will get there one day, I am sure. In the mean time, I will just sip on these delicious Breakfast at Tiffany’s cocktails and be happy I at least have these amazing rose and raspberry cocktails in my life!

Raspberry Peach Champagne Cocktail – A Mother’s Day Cocktail

Peach vodka, fresh raspberry syrup and champagne are combined to make this gorgeous Mother’s Day Raspberry Peach Champagne Cocktail. Sweet, bubbly and full of fresh, fruity flavours, this is the perfect cocktail to serve at a Mother’s Day brunch or any special occasion. Don’t have peach vodka to hand? No problem, I have an easy substitute for you! So raise a glass and let’s call a toast the wonderful Mother figures in our lives.

When I asked my mum what she wanted me to make for Mother’s Day her first answer was shortbread (I’ll be sharing how I obliged with that request very soon) and the second was a cocktail. As my chief taste tester, she’s always very happy when I put mixologist hat on – I mean, who doesn’t love testing new cocktail creations? For her Mother’s Day cocktail I knew I wanted some bright, spring flavours and colours, along with some bubbly – because what’s a celebration without bubbly? Our usual go-to bubbly is Prosecco, because it’s delicious and you don’t have to spend a fortune to get a decent bottle. I went with champagne for this Mother’s Day Raspberry Peach Champagne Cocktail however, because I wanted it to be extra special. However, if like me, your champagne tastes are pretty pricey, you can always substitute with Cava – Champagne’s Spanish cousin, you can get a nice tasting bottle (in my humble, non-sommelier, opinion) for much cheaper than a bottle of champers!

Festive Cocktails for the Holidays with Vitamix!

Three amazing festive cocktails that are totally delicious, perfect for the holidays and are quick and easy to make in your Vitamix! We have a Pomegranate Martini that can be made with vodka or gin (mixer’s preference), a Spiced Clementine Bellini to make you feel fancy, and a Grapefruit and Thyme Fizz which is actually a Mocktail so it’s great for those who don’t want booze, or kids!

Can you guys believe it’s already December? I know it’s a cliché to say, but the year has just flown by, St Nick will be coming down our chimneys in three short weeks, who else is panicking? I have barely started Christmas shopping and this is my first Christmas recipe post! I am so behind y’all, but I will catch up! The Rory Cocktail (a Gilmore Girls “Martini”)

The Rory Cocktail is a very pink drink, made from pineapple vodka, grenadine and champagne or prosecco, served in a martini glass with a pink sugar rim! A really fun, easy and yummy way to celebrate the return of Gilmore Girls with cocktails and girl power!!

I am very excited today my lovely readers. Because do you know what’s coming up VERY soon? No, I don’t mean my trip to Atlanta. Or Thanksgiving. I’m am so very excited for November 25^th! And nope, it’s not because I’m looking for some good Black Friday deals. Have you guessed yet? If the title of this post did not give it away, or the intro blurb, then you must not be a Gilmore Girls fan. That’s right! After 9 long years off of our televisions, Gilmore Girls is back on November 25^th!!! There will be a four hour special on Netflix so we can find out what’s going on with our favourite Stars Hollow residents! And not so favourite (go away, Dean). Who else is excited?!
