But, why not shake things up a little (literally), and swap out your margarita this Cinco de Mayo for an amazing tequila cocktail that is just as easy and delicious, but a little bit different.

Are you a Valentine’s Day lover, or would you prefer to kick it to the curb this year? Whatever your feelings about this particular holiday, you’ll definitely want to be buying flowers and chocolate for The Scarlett Heart – it’s a Valentine’s Day Cocktail we’ll want to whisper sweet nothings too! The name of this Valentine’s Day Cocktail draws inspiration from the classic book and movie, Gone with the Wind. But, confession time – I’ve never actually seen the movie or read the book, but I have passed the Margaret Mitchell House many times, that counts right?! But as The Scarlett Heart combines some wonderful southern flavours and has a gorgeous red hue, a southern love story about a woman named Scarlett just seemed like the perfect place to draw inspiration from.
The Black Widow Cocktail is a dark, shimmery, and deceptively sweet cocktail. It is the perfect spooky sipper for Halloween and the next instalment of my Marvel Cocktail Series. It’s made with gin, crème de mûre, and black sesame syrup. It’s sweet, a little nutty, and visually awesome.
While I’m a firm believer that hard work pays off, and if you want good things you need to work for them, I’m also all about making life easy where you can! So when I was coming up with ideas for a fun and spooky Halloween cocktail and I had the idea to combine a Halloween cocktail with the next drink in my Marvel Cocktail Series, I was all over it! And thus, the Black Widow Cocktail was born! It’s suitably spooky and fun for Halloween, and works brilliantly for Natasha Romanoff’s Black Widow – winner!

So, who’s having Game of Thrones withdrawals already?! I know I am! 7 episodes is just not enough, and now we have to wait until 2019 for the next and final season ?! Not fair! But while we re-watch and re-read the series, I have made an amazing Game of Thrones Cocktail to tide us over, and help us along in theorising just who The Prince That Was Promised is! I have my ideas for sure, and they were who inspired the flavours and spirits of this Game of Thrones Cocktail!
Breakfast at Tiffany’s is a Rose and Raspberry cocktail, made with Belvedere vodka, rose liqueur, lemon juice, raspberry syrup, and an egg white. It’s sweet, slightly floral, and a little bit tart. This Rose and Raspberry cocktail is an easy, elegant drink to serve for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or any celebration!
Confession time, I’ve never actually seen the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s! I know, it’s appalling. It’s just one of those movies I’ve always meant to see, but never actually gotten around to it.
