The Rory Cocktail is a very pink drink, made from pineapple vodka, grenadine and champagne or prosecco, served in a martini glass with a pink sugar rim! A really fun, easy and yummy way to celebrate the return of Gilmore Girls with cocktails and girl power!!
I am very excited today my lovely readers. Because do you know what’s coming up VERY soon? No, I don’t mean my trip to Atlanta. Or Thanksgiving. I’m am so very excited for November 25th! And nope, it’s not because I’m looking for some good Black Friday deals. Have you guessed yet? If the title of this post did not give it away, or the intro blurb, then you must not be a Gilmore Girls fan. That’s right! After 9 long years off of our televisions, Gilmore Girls is back on November 25th!!! There will be a four hour special on Netflix so we can find out what’s going on with our favourite Stars Hollow residents! And not so favourite (go away, Dean). Who else is excited?!

What do you love about summer? Is it the (hopefully) sunny weather and heat, the longer days, family trips and get togethers, the smell of rain on the hot ground, water fights, barbecues, or all of the above and more? I’m not generally a fan of hot weather, I wilt like a flower in the heat but I do love almost everything else about summer. To me, summer means days and evenings spent outside enjoying all the beautiful flavours that come with summer, and sharing them with friends and family – because what could be better than that?
This Pomegranate and Prosecco Jelly (aka Jell-o) is the ultimate fancy, festive dessert. It’s lightly, bubbly and totally delicious. It’s make ahead, so perfect for your Christmas dinner parties!
(pst for those Americans who aren’t familiar with British-isms – Jelly = Jell-o)
These jellies you guys! You guys! I was planning to say something eloquent to go with these fancy desserts, but I’m too excited about them to pretend to be fancy! So instead I’m just going to yell at you – YOU GUYS! THESE JELLIES!!
